Skills for Life

Scouts in Formby and Southport have combined to become Sefton North Scouts. Our Mission is to actively engage and support young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society.

Welcome to Sefton North Scouts

Our members gain valuable skills for life including teamwork, leadership, planning and self-motivation. Our balanced programme of badges and activities also help our members gain cultural awareness and develop a positive outlook. We help young people become the best citizen they can be, show them what they can do and even help them change the world.

Sefton North Scouts aims to actively engage and support young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society. We aim to make a positive impact in our communities, prepare young people to be active citizens and embrace and contribute to wider social development.

Adult volunteers

The Scouts award-winning training scheme for volunteers means that adults get as much from Scouts as young people.

Nature and the outdoors are languages that can be learned. Once you identify a beech tree, tie a clove hitch or cook a simple meal over a fire that you’ve built yourself, you’ll never forget it.'
