Parents Guides

The Parent’s Guides are designed to give parents a brief introduction to the section, explain the types of activities young people take part in and highlight the skills young people will gain. These guides support Leaders to engage with parents and encourage parents to get more involved with Scouting.

There are four section-specific versions of the Parent’s Guide resource, which are

Beavers (6-8 years old)

Cubs (8-10 1/2 years old)

Scouts (10 1.2 -14 years old)

Explorers (14-18 years old)
